My book Diamond and the Shape Shifting Mayans is featured on this week's Highlighted Author site.  

I have just completed the book on ebook and print-on-demand publishing. I have two ad campaigns that are scheduled to run for two more months.  I am doing desultory research for the alternate history version ofthe  Qua Nie Saga.  After a sixteen month stretch of writing and publishing, I am going to take a time out from those two activities.  I plan to shoot some more outdoor scenes and record some more meditation .videos. Maybe just watch the sun set more often. I generally watch the sunrise, but have been slighting the sunsets/

I have started advertising on a local radio station and some author blogs. I am researching a nonfiction book on ebook publishing which I hope to have completed and published by next month. I am also researching an alternative history set in America in the period from 1851 through 1867.

I consulted a marketing professional and am changing my websites, tags and other promotional activities. Plan to be completed by January 15, 2012.

Since my last post I have flown to Reno and The Black Rock Desert to research the final chapters of the Diamond Rising Star Adair series, completed the writing and editing and published it as a paperback and to Kindle, Nook and iBooks. I compiled and re-edited the four Qua Nie Wander Year books and issued them as a paperback. I plan to move on to other genres, while continuing to market those two series.

I am settling into completing the fourth of the Diamond Adair series and final proofing of Qua Nie book 3. I have started planning for different activities in November when these two novels are completed.  They will be numbers 7 and 8 on my Kindle page.

I have just posted The Qua Nie Saga: the Wander Years from Talking Rock to Tucson on both Kindle and Nook. I will post the links as soon as they become active.   The novel  includes the new colt revolver, ambushes, ruthless scavengers, medicine men, Cherokee and Navajo warriors, the Mormon Trail, traders, mountain man, Kit Carson, Taos, Tucson, Tahlequah, the U.S. army, the Mojave Desert and the Petrified Forest.  I publishing it as a short, cheap EBook and will consolidate this and the next three short Ebooks into a paperback in the fall.
