When I was studying Native American spirituality, I made four trips to northeastern Arizona for the Hopi, Zuni and Navajo sacred places and practices. Fourteen years later I am revisiting in order to decide on locations for my fifth Diamond novel and to learn to use both of my new cameras. I plan to use the pictures in blogging and other advertising.

Diamond Returns 04/07/2012
 
I thought that my Diamond series died in the Black Rock Desert while I was in Reno last November.  One of my animal guides is coyote, the trickster. The last two weeks wisps of scenes have intruded. I finally broke down and wrote a couple of thousand words. Then a plot outline began to appear. I have been researching for a week and am going to do a road trip to Arizona, California, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico to store up fresh scenery to use in the novel. I haven't visited some of these places since 1999 and there are some new places I plan to visit. I bought a new video camera to shot scenery for the trailers.
